What Are Cookies?

Types of Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be switched off. They are only set in response to something you do, such as signing in.

• Session cookies (gs_access_token and gs_refresh_token) - Keep you signed in as you move between pages. They are set when you sign in, cannot be read by scripts on the page, are sent only to our own site, and expire when your sign-in session expires or when you log out.
• Sign-in security cookie (gs_oauth_state) - Set for 10 minutes while you sign in, to protect the sign-in redirect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF).
• Support session cookie (gs_impersonation_session) - Set only in a member of our support staff's browser during an approved, time-limited support session on your account. It expires when that session ends.

Referral Cookie

If you arrive through a content creator's referral link (a link containing?cc=), we set a first-party cookie named cc for 30 days. It stores the creator's code so that their discount can be applied when you order, and the first visit through the link is counted for that creator's referral statistics. It is not set if you do not follow such a link, and it is not shared with any third party.

Analytics Cookies

We do not use analytics cookies. We count page views on our own servers without a cookie, storing only a shortened, one-way hash of your IP address, browser user agent, and the date. If we add analytics cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide appropriate notice and consent options.

Advertising Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. We do not share cookie data with advertising networks or third-party trackers.

Other Browser Storage

The Service also stores some information in your browser's local storage and session storage. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us as a cookie:

• Local storage - interface preferences you choose, such as console settings, command history, and live map layer and legend settings. It stays until you clear it in your browser.
• Session storage - temporary values used while you sign in, console transcripts, an order in progress, and whether you dismissed a banner. It is deleted when you close the browser tab.

Third-Party Cookies

Some services we integrate with may set their own cookies:

• Stripe - If you make a payment, Stripe may set cookies as part of their secure checkout process. See Stripe's Cookie Policy for details.
• Keycloak - Our identity provider may set cookies as part of the authentication flow.

Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the Service's core features. Deleting the referral cookie only means a creator's discount code is no longer filled in for you.

Cookie Retention

The session cookies have a fixed lifetime rather than being deleted when you close your browser: they last until your sign-in session expires (a sign-in session ends after a period of inactivity and has a maximum length) or until you log out, whichever comes first. The sign-in security cookie lasts 10 minutes. The referral cookie lasts 30 days from when you followed the referral link.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
