Palworld Admin Commands — Complete Reference

· 2 min read· By WDC GameGrid Team

Every Palworld admin command in one place: kick, ban, broadcast, save, shutdown, and more. Learn how to become an admin and manage your server from in-game or the GameGrid console.

Becoming an Admin

Before using admin commands, you need to set up admin access:

  1. Set the AdminPassword in the Settings tab of your GameGrid control panel
  2. In-game, press Enter to open chat, type /AdminPassword YOUR_PASSWORD and press Enter
  3. You can also run admin commands directly from the Console tab in the GameGrid panel without being in-game

Player Management Commands

Command Description
/KickPlayer {SteamID} Kick a player from the server
/BanPlayer {SteamID} Ban a player permanently
/UnBanPlayer {SteamID} Unban a player
/Broadcast {Message} Send a server-wide announcement
/ShowPlayers List all connected players with Steam IDs
/Info Show server info and current settings

Server Control Commands

Command Description
/Save Force-save the world immediately (use before stopping)
/DoExit Shut down the server immediately (use Stop in panel instead)
/Shutdown {Seconds} {Message} Shut down after delay with warning (e.g., /Shutdown 60 "Restarting in 1 min")
/ToggleSpectate Switch to spectator mode (in-game only)

Important Notes

  • Always use /Save before stopping your server for a clean save
  • Use Stop in the GameGrid panel instead of /DoExit when possible — it's safer
  • /Shutdown with a delay gives players time to find a safe spot

Commands That Don't Exist in Vanilla

Palworld does not have built-in commands for spawning items, Pals, or teleporting. The /GiveItem, /SpawnPal, and /SpawnItem commands you may see in older guides do not exist in the vanilla game.

These features require third-party server mods such as AdminEngine or PalDefender, which add commands like !give and !spawn. Installing mods is at your own risk — they can break with game updates.
