Server Status and Uptime

How to check your server status, what the status indicators mean, and what to do if your server is down.

Checking Your Server Status

The badge you want is in the status bar at the top of every tab of the server panel, next to the server name. It is colour-coded:

Green "Online" โ€” the server is running.

Yellow "Starting", "Stopping" or "Restarting" โ€” the server is in the middle of a lifecycle action. The dot pulses while it is.

Grey "Offline" โ€” the server is stopped. Press Start.

Red "Failed" โ€” the last attempt to run it ended badly. Check the Console tab; Server Will Not Start is the place to start.

Grey "Draft" and yellow "Provisioning" โ€” the server has been created and is still being built.

Red "Suspended" โ€” the plan that pays for this server has lapsed. Renew it from the Dashboard.

The Dashboard cards show the same underlying state in words rather than as a coloured badge, and they say "Setting up" or "Deactivated" for the two cases above.

The badge is worked out from two sources โ€” what the platform last recorded, and what the host says right now. A recent record wins, because a graceful stop can take a few seconds and the live check would flicker; a record older than half a minute defers to the host. If the host cannot be reached at all, the badge holds the last thing that was actually known rather than guessing.

Platform Status

The System Status page shows the health of the GameGrid platform itself โ€” the website, the API, the database, the cache and authentication โ€” with a 30-day bar where each tick is one day and its colour reflects that dayโ€™s downtime. Hovering a tick shows the date and any incidents recorded for it. The page refreshes itself every minute and needs no login.

That page is about the platform, not about your individual game server. Your serverโ€™s own state is the badge in its panel.

If everything looks operational there and your server is still unreachable, open a support ticket.
