Metrics: Player List and Player Profiles

Find any player who has played on your server, open their profile, rank your players by any figure, and see every session: the Players button, the Players and Sessions tabs, and who can see player IDs.

Where to find your players

When player statistics are switched on for your server, the Metrics page has a Players button at the top. It opens a list on the right of every player who has ever played on the server. Until player statistics are on, the button, the Players and Sessions tabs and the links on player names do not appear.

The list shows each player's name, a green dot when they are online now, and when they were last seen. You can:

  • Search by any name the player has used on the server. The account owner and administrators can also search by a player's exact Steam ID.
  • Sort by Last seen, Playtime or, where your game reports kills, Kills.
  • Show only Online now players, or only players New this season.
  • Use the keyboard: / jumps to the search box, the up and down arrows move through the list, Enter opens the highlighted player and Esc closes the list.

Click a name and that player's profile opens in the main part of the page. The list stays open, so you can jump from one player to the next. On a phone the list fills the screen and closes when you pick a player; the Players button opens it again.

A player's profile

The top of a profile shows the player's name, whether they are online (and for how long this session), when they were first and last seen, and their total playtime on the server. A player your game knows only by character name carries a note: a rename looks like a new player, and two players with the same name are counted as one.

The profile has up to three tabs. A tab appears only when your game can supply it.

TabWhat it shows
OverviewThe player's rank, playtime, sessions, logins per day and, where your game reports them, deaths, kills, K/D, suicides, distance travelled and places discovered. Below: their base information, the names they have used, where they spend their time, and their latest activity (joins, leaves and deaths)
SessionsA timeline of every login and logout, logins per day, how long their sessions last, the hours of the week they usually play (in your time zone), and a table of every session. Click a day or an hour to see just those sessions
NamesEvery name the player has used on the server, with how many sessions and when each was first and last used

Figures follow the season chosen in the bar at the top: This season, an earlier season, or All seasons. Days before a player first joined are left blank, not counted as zero.

Ranking players: the Players tab

The Players tab ranks every player who played in the period you choose. Rank is simply the player's position in the column you sort by; there are no points. Click a column heading to sort by it (click again to reverse the order), or pick it from Sort.

  • Window chooses the period: the season chosen in the bar at the top, the last 30 days, the last 7 days, or the range in the bar at the top.
  • Online now and New this period narrow the list.
  • Choose 25, 50 or 100 players a page.
  • Columns appear only for figures your game reports: logins, kills, deaths, K/D, suicides, playtime, distance and last active.

Sessions

The Sessions tab lists every session in the range you pick in the bar at the top: who played, when they joined and left, how long they stayed and how the session ended. Beside it, Session lengths shows how long sessions last, and for a range of up to 48 hours with up to 50 players, Who played when draws each player's sessions side by side.

Top players

The Overview shows your Top players for the range in the bar: the top five by kills where your game reports kills, otherwise by playtime. All players opens the Players tab.

Player IDs and downloads

A player's IDs (their Steam ID, and on DayZ their DayZ ID and BattlEye GUID) appear on their profile, each with a Copy button, only for the account owner and administrators. Server managers and read-only users see names and gameplay but no IDs, and cannot download player lists. The account owner and administrators can download the Players list and the Sessions list as CSV files from those tabs. Every download is recorded in your account's audit log.

Player names in other parts of the panel, such as the console's player list, live map player lists and leaderboards, link to the player's profile or to the player list, so you can go straight from a name to the player's history.

Nothing on these pages is shown to your players, and player IP addresses are never shown anywhere.
